All Of September

Where oh where do the days go?

Our life consist of running the kids to school, doing their homework with them,  piano lessons and then our church callings.

We do throw in a lot of fun along the way too. I finally got my pictures to transfer from my camera to my computer so we will be playing catch up for awhile.  Hopefully, not too long because we have been having a really fun October and I want to get to that too.

In September, the babies and I took a quick to Utah.  I went to run a half marathon with Shannon and Janeen.  We arrived on a Thursday night and left for home on a Monday morning.  We managed to throw a lot into our short time frame though.  We played with cousins OUTSIDE (we couldn’t do that in Vegas), we went to Janeen’s house and attempted to go to a festival at Keegan’s school but we got RAINED on (also doesn’t happen much in Vegas).   We took our friend and babysitter, Kelsie, who is now attending BYU out for dinner.  We also went and visited with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Mary.  Micah got sick that day and thew up all over the place.  Not fun!  Shannon, Janeen and I did a half marathon.  Well, I attempted the half.  I swear something always goes wrong when I do races.  I ran about 7 miles then was told to take a turn where I wasn’t suppose to just yet thus missing two miles of the run.  I was pretty bummed out.

After the half Shannon, Janeen and I gimped our sore bodies around UVU at the women’s expo.  The best part was a booth that was offering free 5 minute massages.  Heavenly.

I am not entirely sure what else we did in the month of September but I am sure it was fun.

Kaitlin, Alessia and Rylee in the rain

(when curtis saw this picture he pointed to A and R and said, hey those two look alike.  he didn’t even know it was a picture of Alessia).

Alessia enjoying being able to play outside

Shannon, Me and Janeen before our race

(man, it looks like I need to do a lot more exercising)

And my all time favorite picture of my nephew, Keegan

he is one strong boy, he gave me bruises tackling me

but don’t worry Alessia gave him thousands of kisses, which to a boy is worse than bruises

Here are two more pics from September

A cute one of Alessia reading.  she loves books

And a big thing that happened this month…

We landscaped the front yard.  It was mostly dead grass.  Since we live in the desert we went with desert landscape.  I not a big fan of the look or feel but it will be nice on our pocket book and be low maintenance. We only did the front since we want grass in the back.
