Little Man Micah

Micah is no longer a baby.  He is such a big boy.  It really just took us by surprise.  It was like one day we had a baby and then next day we woke up to a toddler.  He has entered into the “terrible two” stage.  He likes to throw tantrums and if he is really mad he likes to hit.  He has learned what time out is and can usually be persuaded to be good with the threat of going to time out.

Micah loves to make noise.  He vrooms his cars all over the place.  He sings made up songs.

He loves to color and draw.

He has learned how to open the fridge and can now successfully drink out of the water jug.    If we leave the pantry unlocked he eats all the sweets he can find.

He usually eats really well for a day then takes the next day off and just continues with this pattern.

I took him to his two year check up this month ( I know I was late, he is my third).  The doctor said he is small.  I knew he was small compared to my other two at this age but he doesn’t seem too small to me.  (the doc wasn’t worried).

Micah still cries every time we drop him off at nursery on Sunday.  This week I said, “let’s go to nursery” and he said, “no nursery”.

He still takes one nap in the afternoon.  Usually in Alessia’s room since Micah’s crib is in John’s office and John works during the day.  We have a crib tent so Micah can’t get out every night.

He is super shy around people but loves to show off too.

He is a lover and an instigator.  We love having him in our family.

I absolutely love this picture.  Micah adores his daddy.  He likes to eat dad’s food too.

Don’t look Grammy!

Micah in his cute suit, it is kind of pee-wee herman like, but in a good way

(if there is such a thing)
