Summer Loving

This past summer (I know it has been awhile.  It was a really long time ago) we decided to “move” to Utah.  We rented our home to our old neighbors and friend’s the Peltiers.  They moved to Switzerland a few years back and wanted to spend a few weeks in Vegas. We then posted on facebook to see if anyone in Utah would be willing to let us rent their place for a few weeks.  A friend from John’s mission, Jen was looking to rent out her home.  So we rented her cute home in Lehi.  One cool crazy thing about all this house switching stuff was both Benjamin and Ilaria Peltier also served in the same mission as John and Jen.  It was a like a mission house swap.

Jen’s home we rented was perfect for our little family.  It was sandwich right in the middle of SLC and Provo, where we spent a lot of our time.  We renewed our pass of all passes and used them a ton while we were in Utah.  We were also able to spend the 4th of July and the 24th of July in Utah celebrating with family.  On Sundays we drove to SLC for church so we could attend John’s parents ward.  After church we would have dinner and then some aunts and cousins would come over and we would play card games.  It really was a lot of fun to spend some time with our families.
