For our anniversary John planned a little getaway to Toronto.  My parents watched the kids so we could get away.

We drove up to to Toronto one day and met John’s friend Collin and his wife for lunch at this little pub.  Collin and his wife were so nice.  It was fun to spend some time with them.

After checking into our Airbnb we went and walked around the city a little.  It is very much like NYC.  John had bought us tickets for the musical Cinderella.  It was a cute musical but just a little different. After the musical we enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate at Tim Horton’s.

The next morning we headed back home.  We hit a bump in the parking garage in Toronto and by the time we made it to Ontario we had a complete flat. John changed out of his nice clothes and changed the tire for us.  This was the 6th tire he had to change in like a two month period.  One time he was changing a flat of mine I asked him if it made him feel more  manly.  He said no it just made him want to be a girl.

After we put the spare on we went to check out Niagara Falls.  We found the bench where John proposed many moons ago.

When we were done checking out Niagara Falls we drove back into the US and got a hold of our rental car company.  We ended up driving it back to the airport and picking up another car before being able to make it back to Rochester.

It definitely was a fun and memorable trip to Toronto.
